Texas wide receiver Mike Davis has decided to return for his senior season, according to a report.
Davis had been leaning toward turning pro and declaring for the 2013 NFL Draft.
Davis told ESPN.com?s Joe Schad he changed his mind after talking with two Texas offensive coaches, family members and high school coaches.
?I want to maximize my stats and go to the BCS," Davis told Schad. "It?s been tough for me. I did plan on coming out, but I need to do this one more time. I want to win the Biletnikoff Award (as the nation's top wide receiver). Those guys at Texas deserve another year."
The 6-foot-1 receiver had 57 catches for 939 yards and seven touchdowns this past season.
